Electoral Finance
On March 2, 2007 amendments to the Members and Public Employees Disclosure Act were proclaimed into law. The new regime provides public funding of recognized political parties while establishing limits on the amount that donors can contribute to a recognized party, its electoral district associations or its candidates.
